can’t claim to be a huge fan of kraftwerk but went to the gig anyway to defy inevitably pesky ushers and boy was it a doozy of a spectacle. in other news, it felt like attending a german embassy event. the crowd jerked into an epilectic seizure when the curtains were raised the second time and the robots appeared.

and then came a whole day of wedding activity as one of the groom’s ‘brothers’ and unofficial photog for the first time. it was a traditional affair on all fronts in the day and a dinner with western touches in the evening – the first wedding i’ve been to where there’s been an actual bouquet toss and a garter removal and toss.

got a lot of weddings to attend within these few weeks and this one will be really hard to top. i’ve never known a cuter couple. due to constant snapping, the only time i got to take it all in was while sitting in the church while phototaking was too difficult and i gotta say i’m really blissed out for sam and sab.

now to send them the photos.

there goes the neighbourhood

an ntuc fairprice has just opened opposite my block not 50 metres away. i’ve taken a stroll through the fairprice and it’s a compact little affair. it will be very convenient to have it so close, although there’s one just outside the neighbourhood, and there are many provision shops downstairs. this one is closer than the wet market and better stocked than the provision shops.

ntuc fairprices are starbucking all over the place. i’ll miss you mom and poppers.

somehow i’ve managed to strain my back yesterday. goddamn that lightbox lugging.

consumption

boy am i stuffed. our attempts to whittle down food quantity has not kept up with our diminishing abilities to consume.

we shoulda kept a list of what we’ve made and eaten since the first time.
